A project by Jairo Alonso Martinez Cediel
The project stems from the need to improve the urban landscape and to achieve the re-appropriation of territory from its inhabitants. The intention is to generate public spaces as meeting places where society can relate actively and playfully through art.
This is a pilot project that seeks to integrate the Lafayette community around a sculptural piece that is also interactive through sound, light and color. The purpose is to achieve a symbiosis between gardening, technology, sculpture and general public, thereby demonstrating the connectivity between branches of knowledge with a common purpose to point out the social on fragile networks such as the environment and in this case specifically, the urban landscape.
